With options of swimming in the leisure centre and a spot of light shopping as the alternative - that was the call. Ski lessons cancelled: boo! Spending money and mucking about in a pool: hooray! So here is one group (above) on their way up to the swimming pool with their shopping bags loaded.
The morning went swimmingly at the leisure centre and I think you will all be delighted with the souvenirs heading your way. Here are some of the boys at the bus stop this afternoon on our way to the sports complex in the village where we will be playing basketball, Tag-Rugby and football. The mountains behind us are still shrouded in grim clouds and as I write, spots of rain still fall. No matter though for us with plenty still to do and the forecast for tomorrow is more sunshine.
It is 4.30 pm and we are once more on the bus home: the magical mystery tour has begun - with the addition of mysterious cyclists boarding as we go. Two look strangely familiar and are causing tremendous amusement for the boys: where have Mr Pooley and Mr Harwood gone?
Having made lots of friends on the bus of all places, and with the locals waving and laughing with us we are back at base once more, safe and sound with the boys lively and refreshed. It shows just how tiring the skiing can be. The whole party below sharing the 'big-bear' pose for you all and sending their love and best wishes.
